You only need to get in the area. This is a considerably difficult ride on a mountain bike or a long hike from parking.
I took my wife on a mountain bike to show her this unique outcropping and place the cache. After a long hot day, many ups and downs, cacti and deep sand, the cache name took on an entirely different meaning. A snowball will have a better chance in this cache than I will getting her back on the bike.
