Geocache Description:

This is a Rubbermaid type container. Chehaw is open daily from 9:00 to 5:00. Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's day. Admission is $2.00 for adults, $1.00 for children 3-12 and $1.00 for seniors and active military.

Chehaw Park is named after a friendly sub tribe of Creek Indians that once lived along the banks of the Muckalee Creek, which marks the western boundary of the park. One translation of the word Chehaw is "where otters live". A stick for poking is a good idea. Cache contains some CITO bags.
