A short rainforrest walk from Hastings Street.
While staying in town for the Jazz Festival we discovered a nice path to walk on between our accomodation and the main venues along Hastings Street. A more interesting track than the boardwalk by the busy road. Quite a few access points along the way, as this track runs behind the many accomodations on Edgar Bennet Ave which is parallel to Noosa Drive. There are also a few lights, should you choose to visit at night it is a lovely walk. Be prepared for intermittent GPS signal while under the cover of trees. However once you arrive at GZ the hiding spot for the cache will be unmistakable. Look for a big fig tree with substantial roots, near a short section of boardwalk. The cache you seek is a small Sistema container with a log book, FTF scratchie and room for a few small swaps. We have kicked it off with a mixture of some of the more interesting items we found while caching over the weekend. Cache can be reached from the path if you get low enough / lay down. Please take care to replace the cache to the same location and cover it well.
