Geocache Description:

This cache is placed on a public footpath in Newport East, near Christchurch. The container is a snap-shut plastic sandwich box with a log book, pencil and a few tradeable items.

This cache is placed near Glanmor Park Avenue, just near the top of Gibbs Road. Small amount of parking available on the corner of Glanmor Park Avenue, in front of a broken silver gate and 'no fly tipping' sign. Please do not park in front of peoples drives or in front of the nearby brown gates as the owners require 24/7 use. This area is used by many people and dogs (MUGGLES) so make sure no one sees you near the cache and hide it back well. If you walk the suggested way (from Glanmor Park Avenue towards the cache) there is a wonderful view along the way across Newport. Look out for 2 new wind turbines

Many times, this area has been threatened by the building of 100+ flats. We don't want this area to be destroyed, so keep visiting to keep this cache available for other users. If you would like a longer walk you can carry on along the path towards Christchurch. This cache is easy to spot (After reading the cheats), yet is hard to get with so many muggles, if you are passing at a peak time (watch for dogsand owners!!!)

Recently we have visited the cache and we are astounded about the amount of rubbish and amount of stuff that has just been left there. (There's quite alot of it!!!) So beware of this when going to the cache, but don't let it put you off as the views are fantastic!!!
