Dune 7 is found in Erongo district of Namibia about 7km east of
Walvis bay.
Dune 7 is the highest dune in the coastal region
Allot of activities are exercised on this dune climbing it or sand
boarding.
Dunes are a hill of sand built by Aeolian processes. Dunes
are longer
on the windward side where the sand is pushed up the dune.
Most dunes are those with coastal regions, the largest dunes are
found
inland in dry regions where you will find ancient lake or sea
beds.
Dunes come in different shapes and sizes, some shapes include
;
Crescentic, Linear, Star, Dome, Parabolic, Reversing
The highest dune in the world is called "Cerro Blanco" which
located in Sechura Desert, Nazca
Which is somewhat 904m tall,
Most sand dunes move constantly, one way that dunes can move is by
word called saltation.
The Cassini space probe has also observed dunes on Titan and
Mars.
In order to qualify to log this cache, you need to answer the
following questions and email the cache
owner. Any logs not accompanied by an email will be deleted.

of the dune.
