St. Edwards Park Traditional Cache
dmcgauley: We decided to shut this one down. Went back out today and was attacked by over 50 buzzards eating the dead dog, so I figured this cache had a long enough life. We'll move it to another park soon. -Dan, Kim, and Ryan

This is located in a VERY hidden park in west Austin. It's not even listed in the Austin Parks and Recreation Web site, even though that's what it's one of theirs! It's about 1/2 mile from the non-parking lot entrance.
There are two parking lots for St. Edwards park. It's less crowded parking at the east one where only about 5 cars can fit. You can take one of several trails to the cache from that parking lot, but we recommend the one to the right along the river. It's very scenic. Don't know what it's like from the actual parking lot. Let us know! We left several things including a Room 501 t-shirt (a movie we are producing), a set of Star Wars pewter figures, a sunglass strap for going down the river, a Nine Inch Nails bandanna, and something else that I can't remember! It's a very hidden park that very few people know about in Austin. Enjoy!
NOTE: For the time being, there is a large dead dog about 100 feet to the right of the cache (facing up hill). I'm working on having it removed.
