You are cordially invited to join Sandvika for a caching
breakfast in the Monk's Room at The Old Manor in Bracknell from
10am to celebrate the fact that we're finally reaching 1000
finds!
Granted, not everyone celebrates even bigger milestones, but this
has taken over 3 years at an average of under a cache a day, so for
arriving at this juncture almost exactly a year after GSAK's
StatGen initially predicted it, here we are! (Now we just need to
get out to make sure that we hit the target on time!)Breakast is
served from 10am. We will have exclusive use of the Monk's Room
until at least noon. As those who have visited before will know,
these breakfasts provide excellent value.
There should be ample parking in the pub car park (accessed from
the one-way inner ring road) and there are additional public car
parks adjacent and nearby.
For those who are not familiar with GSAK or would like to get to
know how to use it more effectively, we will be providing a brief
tutorial and question and answer session at 11:30am. Any GSAK
experts asking really really difficult questions to catch us out
will be expected to buy a round of drinks!
