"Hebishima(Snake Island)" is the pond which is near the confluence point of Sunagawabori-River and Shingashi-River, and it is dividing into Nishi-ike(west pond) and Higashi-ike(east pond).
There are few water at this pond normally. However, it seems to dive into another world when you are in the bottom of the pond because of topography.
蛇島遊水池は、砂川掘と新河岸川の合流点近くにある調整池で、西池・東池の二つに分かれています。
池と言っても、普段は水はほとんどありませんが、窪んだ地形のため、池の底まで降りると周りの建物が見えなくなり、さながら別の世界に迷い込んだかのようです。
