Geocache Description:

Okay, so this isn’t the Ponderosa ranch and that’s not a Ponderosa pine and we don’t remember seeing a radio/cell phone tower on the horizon on Bonanza. If Ben and the boys were riding in this area they might be looking for stray horses, and you should be also. BYOP. FTF prize.

This is a group of 6 caches in our “Salute to Old TV Programs” series. This group is located on some hiking and mountain biking trails at the end of Duhamel Road in the Cadys Falls section of town, although we do not recommend bikes on this loop due to terrain. We have the permission of the Selectboard and the Conservation Commission for these hides. Limited parking is available at the posted coords. We always try to keep our caches available in the winter but I would suggest snow shoes rather than cross country skis due to the terrain. We have purposely kept the finds easy so you can spend your time enjoying the hike. “Cadys Falls Cache” is not part of this series but is on the loop if you care to include it. If you do the complete loop the terrain will range from 1 to 4 and will take over an hour. We recommend this order: Green Acres, Mork and Mindy, Bonanza, Gomer Pyle, Flintstones, Route 66. Tree cover did get a little thick in some areas, be patient.
