Kahramanmaras kent merkezindeki yigma tepenin üstündedir. Günümüze degin birçok onarim geçiren kalenin IÖ I. IS II. yy. arasinda yapilmis olacagi düsünülmektedir. 150x75 metre boyutlarinda dikdörtgene yakin planlidir. Eski Eserler ve Müzeler Genel Müdürlügü duvarlarin bir bölümünü ve üç burcu onartmistir. Bunlardan biri kalenin eski giris yapisidir. Kare planli burcun dis duvarlari kesme tas, iç duvarlari ise moloz tastir. Yaridan çogu yikilmis iç duvarlarda iç kapi koridoru ile kapi söve yerleri onarilmistir. Burcun güney yüzünde sivri kemerli, çiftkanatli kapi yer alir. Ahsap kapi kanatlari, kalin saç kaplanarak iri basli çivilerle perçinlenmistir. Burcun dogusu mazgal deliklidir. Içten haç planli burç, haçin uzun kolu üstündeki baska bir kapiyla kaleye açilir. Kale surlarinin içi park olarak düzenlenmistir. Mado tarafindan isletilmektedir, açik çay bahçeleri, çocuk parki ve dinlenme mekanlari ile belirli günlerde açik büfe ve canli müzik ile hizmet sunmaktadir.

Kahramanmaras Castle
Kahramanmaras city on the hill is the center of the pile. BC until today many of the castle restored I. OS II. century. are expected to be made between. 150x75 feet in size are planned close to rectangular. Exterior walls of a square stone tower, the interior walls are of rubble. More than half of the inner wall collapsed in the hallway with the door jambs where the door was repaired. Sign on the south face of the pointed arch, folding doors are located. Wooden doors, thick hair and covered with stud riveted. The east tower is perforated loophole. Internal cross-shaped towers, the long arm of the cross at the top of the castle opens to another door. Inner walls of the castle was held at the park. It is operated by mado, tea garden, children's park and recreational space with open buffet and live music on certain days, the service offers.
