A small 200 ml container.
This is just a couple of minute walk up the footpath from the village green at Pratts Bottom.
The name would have been a hollow belonging to someone named Pratt.
The village sign on the green shows the Turnpike Cottage (The Old Toll House)
but the actual cottage was demolished in the 1920's
The Turnpile Act meant the Farnborough Village to Riverhill in Sevenoaks stretch of road was turnpiked in 1748, and the gate for this was at Pratts Bottom, where the coaches went up Rushmore Hill, down Star Hill to Sevenoaks, this was a very steep and hard stretch for the horses and very muddy which is why a toll had to be paid to maintain the road.
