Easy find. Walk around the area and a little further down the side walk is a nice bridge and viewing area.However please do keep in mind the area and don't get to close to the water because there are gators and snapper turtles. Lastly keep an eye out for Muggles because they do frequent this area so BE STEALTHY.
My friend dropped his camera at the viewing area awhile back and some how it was salvaged without any water damage. (Snowboarder4life) If you swing by at night fall you can see the bats from the two houses fly out to begin their hunt for mosquitoes. It is very scenic and there are several nice places to walk and benches to have a nice lunch. As for parking anywhere closeby so long as you have a university parking ticket there isn't a problem. If you don't have one however, closeby is a generic temple which you can park at that's a little further away. The temple is right off the lake and hard to miss. The cache is close to the lake as well but closer to the side walk and forest. I left several travel bugs so hopefully that will bring the interest.
