Geocache Description:

A regular cache hidden within Winey HIll. A quiet public open space with magnificent views.

Access is by foot only via a number of public bridalways. Muddy paths can be a bit troublesome in bad weather and there's a steep incline to the top of the hill.

Winey Hill is a bit of a hidden gem. A public open space in the heart of Chessington with magnificent 360 degree views extending across surrey and to the Telecom Tower and Canary Wharf in London. There is a steep incline to the top of the hill but the views make your efforts worthwhile.

Winey Hill forms part of the Chessington Countryside Walk, which is quite a nice way to take in the charm and beauty of the Chessington countryside, why not take in the walk and have this be a nice little stop off along the way, there are a fair few caches along the route too!.

Whilst here be sure to stop and enjoy the views, say hi to the grazing horses and depending on the time of year maybe sample a few of the blackberries. (pictures most definately welcome!)

The cache is a regular sized container with a few trade items and is not a really difficult find.

Please try to hide it as you found it otherwise it becomes even more obvious to muggles then it may already be.

The Winey Hill Viewpoint Cairn.
