Nerdy Smurf Cache Traditional Cache
Keystone: Two weeks have passed with no progress, and someone else has hidden a cache nearby and is patiently waiting. I am archiving this listing so I can publish the other one.

THIS IS ONE OF THE OLDEST CACHES IN CENTRAL OHIO. THE COORDINATES HAVE BEEN A LITTLE BIT OFF SINCE BEFORE WE ADOPTED IT. IF YOU USE YOUR GEO-SENSES, READ THE LOGS, AND LOOK AT THE PICTURES...YOU WILL FIND IT.
Located in Clintonville, this cache takes you off the beaten (paved) path and toward running water.
Okay - this is weird. After a few tips from some fellow cachers, and after doublechecking myself, it appears that the /original/ Nerdy Smurf Cache has been located... but the NEW Nerdy Smurf ZOO Cache is gone! I think this is the Bermuda Triangle of Geocaches.
Anyway, I checked it out myself and it is the original cache, but it contains none of the original contents! All of the nerdy toys and the smurf toys are gone. It's becoming full of animals, because people were expecting the ZOO cache, but it's not - so go ahead and swap any way you want!
The cache itself is not visible off of the path, but you can't miss the humongous tree it lives in. This area is well-traveled, so make sure you're extra sneaky.
This cache is now being maintained by the 4dingdongz, as of 5-21-04. However it will always be the property of jude and hopmcg. It is one of the older caches in Central Ohio.
