Barking Mad (Auckland) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

status quo: As this cache has been out of action for too long and the cache owner has not responded or performed any maintenance, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to un-archive it.

Geocache Description:

Are you a master geocacher, sneaky, stealthy and deceptive? If you are, come hunting for a cache on one of the busiest intersections in downtown Auckland.

Come on down to the corner of Queen and Victoria Streets Auckland CBD. Where one will see thousands of pedestrians running the gauntlet, against the ticking time bomb which is the countdown crossing. Also to be found, at certain times of year, is the famous creepy Santa...though he sadly no longer winks.

The cache is now nano sized. Extreme muggle zone at almost all times, please take care when caching and retrieve as found. Even though its a big open air intersection the GPS is sometimes a bit shaky so use a hint if you want to know where to start but you'll get no more than that.

If you're wondering about the cache name, we placed this cache here because most likely no one else was "barkingmad" enough to do so. Good luck with the hunting and retrieving, would love to hear some stories about how you evaded the muggles.

WOOF!
