This was the second cache I had found, way back on 11-20-2001, so
it has special meaning. Thanks to Geocaching.com for allowing me to
adopt this cache and keep up one of the oldest active caches here
in Arizona.
- TEAM 360.
Rolling desert with granite boulders. Alitude approx 2800 ft.
Hidden under a large dead tree, one of many. A second adventure is
described within the cache, requiring additional walking.
Cache is in a Christmas cookie can, covered with a blue plastic bag
and well hidden under a dead tree. Start at N 33 44.482, W111
48.258 for a great bike ride of about 6 miles round trip. Or, park
at the gate at N33 42.101, W111 48.285 for a pleasant 0.5 mile
hike. The road from the gate is not passable although some have
tried.
