Eddie O'Toole Place Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Ngaambul: As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been longer than 28 days since the last reviewer note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 28 days), just contact us (by email) once the cache is in place, and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

Geocache Description:

The Eddie O'Toole Place is a small lunch stop for a lot of the locals here in the Marsh.

As far as I can ascertain, and from memory, Eddie O'Toole ran a successful garage here a few years ago. Legend has it that he sold the lot for a fortune to the local shire. They then used it for this sole purpose, and even named it after him. The Info centre and the shire are short in detail for this, and I'm happy to add info as it comes to hand.

However, a cache, smelling of mint, and defying gravity, is placed here as a challenge, for it can become busy at times.

Enjoy the location, and if you have time, the local eateries can provide either a good coffee, or a good snack/meal.
