This is one of a series of caches to be placed in the Summerland area. Our username is based on The Famous Five series of books written by Enid Blyton. The cache names will reflect this, but will also describe in some way the area where the caches will be found.
We hid this while out on a bike ride, and would encourage others to ride to this one instead of driving. We rode from Summerland, which involved several significant hills. For those interested in riding a shorter and flatter route, a suggested starting point is N 49 36.739 W 119 46.899.
The cache is hidden close to the road (as we had to walk to the spot while wearing cycling shoes). The container is a small camo'd cylindrical lock & lock container. Satellite reception was sketchy due to tree cover, so feel free to use the clue below.
For those on a bike, Camp Boyle is another 5.5 km from the cache site and makes for a nice bike ride with little traffic to worry about.
