A simple drive by cache...or even a nice walk for the Aberdeen views! The cache is a replacement box - a green Lidl lunch box. Please place it back where you found it as per the hint and please close the lid. New log book added 28/10/20 as previous one was soaked.
This cache has been placed exactly as it name says...Back of the quarry. There is a narrow public road with passing places that links the Minnes road out of Belhelvie to the B999 at Whitecairns. The road has passing places ideal for a quick stop or you could park at the bowling green/tennis court carpark at the Green Hut on the Minnes road and walk to the cache. The views are quite amazing from the road as you continue along the road from the cache towards Whitecairns. I found a house on the hill just up from the cache and the view of Potterton/Bridge of Don/Aberdeen and the view round to the airport is quite worth the walk up! 27 October 2020 New box and log book placed! PLEASE PLACE BACK WHERE THE CACHE IS AS PER THE HINT and please close the lid securely.
