NOTE May 19 2002: Not to be confused with the new
current "Canadian Geoquilt Project" found here
Ok folks, this is an easy one. Only 150m from the parking lot.
It's name comes from the fact that this cache contains quilt
squares from fellow geocacher DxChallenged in Akron NY. She's
working on a neat project..a "GeoQuilt" you could say, made up of
over 400 squares signed by other cachers around the globe. You can
read more about the details and status of the project in the
geocaching.com forums:

Seeing as winter is just around the corner I figured I'd make it
relatively easy even in snow. The cache itself is my traditional
cylindrical shape/color with a twist: It's hanging up from a tree
branch. Nothing as elaborate as tranter's neato "ropey's revenge"
but just enough to keep it out of the snow.
At the time of placement the cache contained items such as :
- A digital clock/timer,
- various X-mas ornaments,
- Mini deck of cards,
- Poke-Mon note clips,
- Glowstick glasses,
- folding scissors,
- candles,
- logbook,
- and last but not least......11 Quilt squares to be signed by
you guys/gals.
There are detailed instructions on how/where to sign the squares
along with a fabric marker and a scrap/test piece of cloth to
practice on. I understand that theses markers may not work all that
well in the cold and that they are suppossed to be stored
horizontally (Which the cache shape doesn't permit) If you find
that they don't work just take the piece with you and send me an
e-mail.......I'll be more than happy to get a marker to you. The
marker is also in it's own zip-lock to protect the squares in case
it leaks.
Happy Hunting cliffy:)
UPDATE 2001/12/24 Hi Everybody! I want to thank
everyone who got out there and signed a square.....As of today they

For those who didn't get to sign a square, fret not!......The cache
is still there to be sought out and logged. Thanks again to all of
you!!!!!! .....and aldarion is right...Don't stand under the cache
while untying it...I managed to bonk myself on the noggin' as well

the finished materpiece click Here. If you were
lucky enough to sign one, can you spot your square?:)
