Geocache Description:

Named this little one "Shorty" because I thought we short cachers needed one after all the tall caches hidden lately! Log is inside a bison container to keep it dry. BYOP

When I was growing up my parents always thought that dogs belonged outside until my Mom brought "Shorty" home. He was a smart Dachshund who shared their lives for many, many years. He learned several tricks including sitting with his front paws off the ground to ask for a treat.

Shorty probably wouldn't have cared much for this location but, luckily, was very healthy. My pups and rescues visit here regularly.

This cache was placed with permission. Please be respectful of the landscaping.
