Harrison Homestead
In 1835 Rufus and Sarah Harrison settled on this property, traveling by ox team from Detroit. It was said their farm was the first in Flushing Township to be cleared. Harrison died in 1856 and the farm was acquired by William Schram, his son-in-law. Schram and his wife, Harriet, continued to reside here until the early twentieth century. The nearby well is thought to be the original, although the covering is modern.
The coordinates will take you to a Kettering University Fraternity House (Sigma Nu). Don't worry about being seen, everyone knows why you're there.
