Why did the turtle cross the road? My guess - to play a round of golf.
I was driving home one afternoon when I saw a bump on the road. As I drove past, I realized it was a turtle in the middle of the road. By the time I had turned around, several other cars had stopped to assist the slow-poke across the road. When the weather is warm, check out the pond and see if our buddy has returned home from his adventures on the other side. Depending on the time of year, you can also check out the activity in the Osprey nest located about 100 yards to the north. Every now and then, you might see a bald eagle in the snags to the south.
