Cache is located about 15-25 feet off the main trail, under an evergreen tree. This cache should be attempted on a very clear day. If it is, then pretty much the whole of Seattle and the Puget Sound is visible from the summit. Absolutely breathtaking views are to be had. Make sure to take a camera.
I think I placed the first cache located on the Olympic Peninsula today. Cache is located in a rather well used area on Green Mountain DNR park. During the summer months a gate is open for access to the camp ground. If this gate is open then the cache is approximately 1.5 miles from the camp ground, when it's shut , it adds about another 2 miles to the hike, assuming the person is starting from the Wildcat Lake trailhead. I used a Magellan GPS-315 to place it and waited for an averaging time of over 5 minutes. Once I tested the location, I was able to repeatedly return to within 2 feet of the stash. Some of the original goodies include a CD, Network Interface Card, Yo-yo, batteries, and a couple other small trinkets. Since this being the Seattle area, I included a vacumn packed packet of Caribou Coffee Co. coffee, It's some great stuff, which I'm sure will be appreciated. Good luck to all searchers.
