Geocache Description:

This is a GeoCache Experiment conducted by Jport. The goal is to have several Cachers contribute to a short story.

There will be more of these Cache experiments set up around the area in the future so keep posted.

Where to find: The cache is on the Healthy Long Trail by Wilcox Dock. You can park down by the dock, then follow the trail. There will likely be some muggles on the dock, but the trail should be safe.

Cache: A black, VHS case with a white cover taped to it.

Directions: Included are several numbered index cards. I will start a story off with an introduction on card number 1. I would like everyone who finds this cache to a write anywhere from one sentence to one card full. If you do not want to write and just would like to read, sign the micro log book so we at least know you found it.

Please try to advance the story logically. Write your name and e-mail address (if you are interested in the final project) at the top of the card and then continue the story from where the last person left off. Please follow the numbers at the bottom right of the cards as to what order to proceed. After a month or two, I will check back and see what kind of a short story is shaping up. I would like the story to be at least 20 cards long so whoever finds the cache when it’s up to card 20, write a conclusion to the story. Once the story is finished, I will e-mail everyone who provided an e-mail address with the results . Your words might be changed around a little in order to fix grammar issues and to make everything coherent, but essentially the final product should be an interesting community written short story.

**Please do not look for this cache in the rain, there is a lot of paper inside that I don't want ruined. If you look while it's raining or snowing, be careful and maybe bring an umbrella**

Feel free to e-mail me at jport001@mail.plattsburgh.edu if you have any questions or are just interested in the project.

Thank you for participating and happy hunting!
