Dead end cache with a bit of history
Joseph Atwell received this area after the New York state created military tracts to pay off debts owed to soldiers from services in the Revolutionary War. State Historical markers bear notice to the site. Check out the dates of use for the still standing Schoolhouse at the site. Didn't get to see a bell here but a fellow was fishing Limestone at the dead end bridge.
