All great geocachers should have a HAIL to cache placed in their honor! Fyrmdc reached 1000 caches sometime ago,. Most of the HAIL to caches are in Grant Park area in Centerville, but this one is in Springfield. A 1000 plus caches have come and gone for FYRMDC. He has already past 2000 some time ago! It is TIME!
It is my honor of placing this cache in honor of a good cacher, a good person and a good friend. This is what is so good about this activity called geocaching. Thanks Dave!
I have had the pleasure of traveling through all 88 counties with Fyrmdc, for the Greatt Ohio 88 County Challenge. We coined the term “The Dayton Psychos” early on as our caching runs normally started around 6:30 AM and lasted to about 2:30 AM the following day.
We have been in the big cities. We have sped through the small two building towns with just a stop sign at the one intersecting street. We have been on most of the interstates in Ohio and many of the gravel roads as well. We have sweated during the summer, and froze during the winter. Through it all it was a blast.
There will be several Springfield Local Cachers who will find this before FYRMDC I know, but to follow in the GOOD WILL of the other Hail to Caches… FYRMDC gets to sign on the very top of the logsheet and be the Honorary FTF.
