The cache is in a narrow country lane but has a good parking spot right beside it. The cache is in a small retaining wall below the road in the Coed Garthmaeian Woodland. It is not in the wall on the farm side of the road.
You don't need to move any stones. It can be tricky but will be visible once you are in the right spot.
The cache is a small round plastic container with a blue lid, a logbook and pencil.
There is room for small TB's and other bits and pieces.
One of two caches located close to the small market town of Dolgellau in the Snowdonia National Park, a great base to explore the Cadair Range and surrounding countryside. There are many great walks in the area so do take some time to get out and explore some of them.

July 2015: We note a comment from a cacher that it is not permitted to put caches in dry stone walls. This cache is in an earth retaining wall and not a dry stone wall. However, we totally agree that walls should not be put at risk of damage by searchers looking for caches, so if anyone who sees this cache feels that it is a problem, please email us or note it in the log and we will remove the cache.
