Geocache Description:

Simple two stage multi. The first stage is a drive by, the second a pleasant walk in a nice park.

From 1907 until 1916, events took place at stage one that were both tragic and shocking. Curiously, they inspired the 1941 Broadway hit comedy that is still a staple for community theater and high school drama productions.

Amy Archer was a woman ahead of her time. She was an entrepreneur in an era before women could vote. She carried a bible, dressed as a nurse, and presented herself as a saintly protector of the elderly. Behind the facade, she was a ruthless serial killer.

Stage One takes you past the "Archer Home for the Elderly and Infirmed", where Amy poisoned two husbands and dozens of her patients before her nefarious deeds came to the attention of an alert Hartford Courant reporter and the State Police. No need to get out of your car at the above coordinates, just look on the west side of the street, and get the street number of the rambling brick house that was once the Archer Home. Please be respectful of private property and the current residents of the building.

For stage two, xx = 74 - the house number, y = the number of her husbands Amy murdered, zz = the house number + 51.

The final is at:
41.51.0XX
72.38.YZZ
