Geocache Description:

Will cachers go after a hide if they know in advance that it sucks?

There's one way to find out.

Lame caches are always a hot topic of discussion on the Geocaching forums. I dedicate this to all the hiders out there
who toss a cheesy cache in a location of no significance just
because they can. I am hoping to beat them at their own game.

Although I wasn't able to get all the elements of lameness crammed into a single hide, there are enough here to make it a real stinker.

Crappy location: Yep!

No scenic view: All you can see here is a broken fence and some
over grown weeds. No interesting wildlife here either. Just some
mosquitoes and maybe a gnat or two thousand in the summer.

There is a crappy view of an large pile of dumped trash near Oso Creek that you and the entire family can enjoy.

Place to park: None. It's on a uneven dirt road.

Bad coordinates: Hey, it was the best reading I could get when I passed by the spot one night.

Bad GPS reception in the area: The signal is a bit bouncy here at times.

Wet log: Not yet - but wait until it rains a couple times.

AWOL Travelers: Yup - several

Ordinary container: Ammo Can.

Bad camo: Of course. No camo makes the best camo, right?

Spoiler hint in description: Gotta have that too. Just look behind the fence, two posts right of the broken section. It should still be there. I'm pretty sure it landed there when I tossed it out the window as I was driving by. If you are still not sure where to look, check out the spoiler picture below.

Worthless hint: See below.

Chance of getting questioned by authorities about what you are doing: The first time I drove by, there was a policeman parked just past ground zero. He'll likely be back.

In full view of local residents: Well, this one is kind of lacking here. There's not one house in range of the location.

No pencil. One could probably fit in the container but, I, uh... um, forgot it.

No trade swag: Nope, nothing.

FTF prize: Only if you want one of the tree limbs or leaves laying near the street. I think I saw a bottle cap there by the fence post.

Wrong rating: Yes, it's way over rated. They don't offer half stars yet. Oh, and the cache size/ description is listed wrong. Nor does the attributes pertain to the location: Of course!

Is this an original idea?: No, I don't think so. I copied and pasted most of this page from another cache.

Now for the good part. The satisfaction you will get from this find isn't the search but the opportunity to trash it in front of the rest of the caching community.

When logging this find maybe you should:
Mention in your log how crappy this cache really is. The more
insulting, the better.

To add to the lameness of this cache, the owner reserves the
right to taunt posters of any joyful, bubbly logs such as "Found it" "Thanks for the fun hide" or "Nice cache".

Feel free to post spoiler pictures of the container or ground zero so this will be even less of a challenge for others.

It's out there mocking you right now... It keeps coming up in your
searches... You know you want to find this thing....
