Geocache Description:

This is one of a series of caches to be placed in the Summerland area. Our username is based on The Famous Five series of books written by Enid Blyton. The cache names will reflect this, but will also describe in some way the area where the caches will be found.

In looking for a place to hide a new cache, we came across this lovely spot. Make sure you start on the right side of Trout Creek if you don't want to get wet! Parking is available at the south end of Williams Ave. (see trailhead waypoint listed below). The public footpath should be easy to spot from here. Please respect the private property to either side of this path.

The walk to this cache is short and flat, but goes along the edge of the creek. Please be careful during the Spring runoff when the creek flows more quickly. Due to the proximity of the creek to part of the trail, we don't recommend trying this one in the dark.

This would be a nice place to sit and read on a warm day. Bonus points given to people who swim to this one!

Container is a cylinder with a diameter of 11cm and a height of 7cm with space for geocoins, TBs and small items. Please bring your own writing instrument.
