Geocache Description:

A circular walk of approx 4 miles, in and around the village of Wolvesnewton. Elevation ranging between 70 and 170m along public footpaths, with some stunning views across the Valley and beyond (on clear days).

10th in a series of 11 including the bonus

The circular walk takes you near/by/past the 13th centuary church of St Thomas a Becket; The site of the Gaer Fawr Iron age fort; Coed y Duke and Cae Pwtto wooded areas and The church of the Holy Cross, Kilgwrrwg, where there is the war grave of able seaman Richard Morgan from HMS Garland, who is understood to be the last British seaman to die before the 1918 armastice; the cross on the south side is pre-Norman and nearly 1000 years old.

To be able to find the location of the bonus cache you will need to collect a clue from each of the other caches.

Each cache varies in size but will contain as a minimum a log book/sheet (see individual listing for details) each may be done independently; ratings given are for the series as a whole. Some are wheelchair accessible - please see individual attributes.

Medium Clip lock box in cammo bag, contains log pencil and usual small swaps
