Geocache Description:

An easy find by side of road, The cache is named after a trough on the main Battle road and is in a 35mm containner.

The cache is named after the lettering found on an trough located by the side of the road it was paid for by a Mrs Margaret G Rowe - Lewis and is dated 1898. It may haved used by cattle and horses being driven to the old Battle Market.

Please take care when crossing road.
