This cache is located in Hutchins
cemetery.
With the research I did, it appears
that there are 12 buried here. The earliest birth date found is
1808 and the latest death found is 1925.
Legend has it that there is also a
Indian buried between two trees to the east of the cache. Mrs.
B attended country school to the East of here and the class
would walk to this cemetery a class for a little filed trip and
were told of the Indian buried here. When I was seeking permission
to place the cache, the I was told the same legend as well without
any inquiry on my part.
It appears that there hasn't been any upkeep for several years, so
watch your step as the grass grows tall and several stones have
tipped or been tipped over. You won't have to walk on any graves to
find this cache. Please be respectful of those interned here and
help set a good geocaching example.
This should be a easy hunt, please re hide as found.
Permission has been granted to place the cache, parking is
available on the road side in dry weather, please use common
sense.
Congrats to _Hart2hartx4 and MosesD_ for
FTF!
