Steamboat was a legandary rodeo bucking horse that is immortalized by his silhouette on the Wyoming liscense plate and elsewhere. Few people may remember his name, but many know "The Wyoming Buckin' Horse!"
So famous was this horse that a few years ago Candy & Flossie Moulton wrote his biography, "Steamboat: Legendary Bucking Horse," published by High Plains Press.
I have no idea if this lake was named for the horse, but there sure hasn't ever been a boat of that kind on it!
Watch for things that can bite, sting, or stick you!!
Cache may not be accessible when snow is present.
CONGRATULATIONS to Ersel Hickey for FIRST to FIND!!!
Happy Trails!!
