FTF: FELICIDADES Eixa-Nahtemed y Coqui572!!!

Bienvenidos a mi segundo cache,esta vez escogi este pequeño parque en Mayagüez ya que fueron varios los años que caminaba por aqui para llegar a la universidad. Es ideal para hacer ejercicio y celebrar diferentes actividades tales como cumpleaños, ver películas "Cine bajo las estrellas", fiestas de artesanías entre otros. Abierto desde por la mañana hasta las 7:00pm. Aqui les dejo con una breve historia y descripción del cache. Espero que lo disfruten.

Para el año de 1977, el entonces alcalde, Sr. Benjamín Cole, logró obtener un donativo de la Administración de Desarrollo Económico del Departamento de Comercio Federal para la construcción del Parque de los Próceres Puertorriqueños; uno de los parques más hermosos de Puerto Rico. El parque está ubicado a las orilla del Río Yagüez entre las Carr. 108 y Carr. 65. Entre sus hermosos jardines tiene en sus senderos placas conmemorativas de figuras históricas. El mismo cuenta con veredas, en las cuales sus visitantes pueden realizar caminatas. El Parque de los Próceres está considerado como el pulmón de la Sultana del Oeste. El cache incluye el log y $$ para el FTF. Escogí este escondite ya que es un "muggle free area" garantizado, y se darán cuenta por la pista.

For the year 1977, then Mayor, Mr. Benjamin Cole, had obtained a grant from the Economic Development Administration of the Federal Department of Commerce for the construction of Puerto Rican Founders Park, one of the most beautiful parks in Puerto Rico. The park is situated on the banks of the River Yagüez between Rt 108 and Rt 65. Among beautiful gardens around the paths there are plaques commemorating historic figures. The park has sidewalks, where visitors can hike.The Founding Fathers park is considered the lungs of the Sultana del Oeste. The cache includes the log and cash reward for the FTF.
