Grey Heron Route. Part of the Vredefort Dome Conservancy Birding Route.

Welcome to the Grey Heron Route.

This is a big cache in a small bird sanctuary on the banks of the beautiful city of Potchefstroom.

If possible, please take a photo of any bird on route to the cache and upload with your log.

Enjoy the bird song while searching for the cache, relax and experience the gift of nature.

Please note: To make it worth your while, there is also a small cache in the area: Bird View. Two birds with one stone...

WARNING: This cache is in a bird sanctuary, and there are snakes in the area. Please take care, and stay on the designated routes.
