Geocache Description:

Short walk down a muddy enclosed tree-lined footpath.

The Coleridge Way is my favourite long-distance footpath. It runs for 36 miles from Nether Stowey to Porlock through a variety of terrain – heather moors, deciduous and coniferous woodland, wooded valleys, sunken green lanes and farmed fields. More information and details of the route can be found here: (visit link)

The cache is a lock-n-lock plastic box. There is no need to enter any fields. Tree cover is likely to be a problem to GPS signals in the summer. If you approach from Bicknoller there is no need to cross the railway line

The nearest parking is the Quantockside Layby on the A358 – the opposite side to the village of Bicknoller and between the 2 turnings into the village. You will need to walk along the grass verge for about 100 metres until you get to the end of the footpath, which is signposted.
