Geocache Description:

When we picked up this amazing Jeff's Bike TB from a cache the other day, we were inspired by the spirit of the 'Tour de France' to start a challenge of our own.

Current Goal: To travel to the top of L'Alps d"Huez, France. Please take lots of scenic photos and post. Keep "Jeff's Bike" pedaling and moving along the roads.
About this item: Silver metal road bike. Enjoys rides up very long steep hills & racing in the "Tour de France."

Your Challenge:
We took turns pedaling, pushing and dragging Jeff's bike up Red Mountain. We completed our last leg of the race on the famous 'Crazy 8' trail along the top of the mountain, expecting the piece de resistance. In lieu, voila - un morceau de gateau!

If you can survive this and are FTF, you must take Jeff's bike onto the next leg of your choice and wear whichever colour of jersey you choose. If you're not FTF, you're traveling in its dust.

Strategy: Take along some water because this journey will probably take about 3 hours return. The recommended waypoints and trail heads below are shown in order, based on our past experiences and attempts to get to the top. Cache is located between T1 and T2. Feel free to plan your own assault instead if you like, because there are other routes to the top. Any motorized drive ups will be considered unfair.

Congratulations pirates and princesses on FTF! You rock!!!
We're impressed. Canada earned 3 Olympic GOLD medals today. If they had seen you, they would've given you GOLD! Well done!!!
