How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

One of a series of eight caches associated with our local burn. All except the last are close to pedestrian crossing places and are generally easily accessible although mud can be a factor, but not with this one. As water is always nearby, due care should be taken with children.

This is known as the Roman bridge but it is definitely no older than the 1500s. It is a short walk on a paved surface from one of two points, depending on whether you fancy a drink to celebrate your find. The cache is on the path. It is smaller than a 35mm canister and has no pencil. You will also need tweezers. Please replace it carefully as this is a regularly used route through the village. If you want to find the eighth cache make a careful note of the number inside the lid.
