Geocache Description:

This is a multi-cache. The first two stages are on NPS property but are virtual stages. The final stage is not on NPS property. The parking coordinates listed are for the trailhead and parking. Your walk down the trail will cover just over two miles through the woods and over a few water crossings. There are footbridges and benches provided for your enjoyment.

At the listed coordinates, you will find a brown and white metal sign about 18" by 10".
A=Number of letters in the fourth word on the sign.
B=Number of letters in the first word on the sign.
W=Number of letters in the last word on the sign.
X=Look on the back of the sign for a sticker with a white background. There are two numbers punched out of the sequence. Subtract the larger from the smaller.
Y=Look on the back of the sign at the sticker. The number of letters in the first word on the second line.

Next, you will need to proceed to N34 23.033 W85 38.083.
Here, you will find a viewing platform at the beaver pond. Count the number of floorboards for ZL. C=Z+L. Do not discriminate due to width or length, count each one. Now, count the number of 2x4 boards that make up the vertical columns for the railing for MD.

You might want to proceed to N34 2A.BCD W85 3W.XYZ.
Please make sure you hide the cache back in the exact manner in which it was hidden when you found it.

I didn't see any beavers from the viewing platform, but they certainly have Brooks Branch dammed up. The cold probably had them inside. My walk was in the snow, and I saw a lot of rabbit and cat tracks.

Don't miss Lynn's Overlook nearby as you leave the parking area. Here you can enjoy great views into Little River Canyon.
