Geocache Description:


The Fourth Cache by The Lone Random is home of one of Melbourne’s oldest halls.

The Williamstown Historic Site Series.

The Williamstown Mechanic Institute was constructed in stages from 1860 and 1890, it is one of a very small number of Mechanic Institutes built in Victoria. The oldest part being the rear hall built in 1860 is one of Melbourne's oldest halls.
Today the venue is available for hire and offers a 182 seat theatre style flat-floor hall with stage, along with back stage dressing rooms.

Please as always be careful when retrieving and placing the cache back.
At times the area can be extremely busy.
