Just inside the entrance to National Forest, short walk from parking, wheelchair accessible. Please make sure cache gets completely covered up after retrieval. Please do not disturb wildlife or vegetation - bush-whacking is not necessary.
While feeling in the treasure hunting spirit, we decided to hide a booty of our own! This is our first hide, so we hope you enjoy it! We chose a location that's good for exploring/treasure hunting at any time of year with easy parking.
Our treasure is constructed from a screw-lid plastic cylindrical container.
Original contents (fit for any pirate) include: Home-decorated log book sealed in zip-lock bag, pen (please leave for others to sign log), gold coins, a compass, a pirate patch, some neat unused valentines day cards, a toy harmonica and a tube of plastic bubbles with new straw.

Should be enough room for a travel bug or two!
Please make sure that you return the cache as you found it - invisible from every angle.
Also, please don't put edible items in the cache - lots and lots of dogs and wildlife in the area may help themselves to our cache otherwise.
This area is not lit at night, so if you plan to do this in the dark, bring a really good flashlight with you.
