Geocache Description:

Park at a nice neighborhood park and plunge into the urban wilderness.

Willows Creek Park is a hidden place that few people seem to know about. It is located at the end of a dead end street in an isolated Redmond neighborhood. To find this cache you will need to venture away from the park and explore some of the woods and wetlands along Willows Creek. This is one of the many small creeks that flow down the hill from Kirkland to Redmond.

There is one path that will bring you to the area of the cache. Two or more stream crossings will likely be required for you to locate this cache. Helpful area residents have built a bridge or two to assist you in your travels. Be careful as the bridges can be very slippery when wet, which is almost always. A tree house with no means of ingress or egress awaits your exploration. Beyond the treehouse and across the creek is the cache. An ammo can in a fine hidey hole at the base of a Hemlock.

Be sure to wear shoes and clothing that will help protect you from the ever present water, mud and pokey things. A walking stick may be a good idea to aid with balance. Gloves may also be in order.

Coordinates could be a bit uncertain considering the area.

We hope you enjoy your adventure.
