Cactus Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

AZNUT: After several dnfs I went out to check on this cache today. I could not find it either, did find a beer can and some clothes lying around! Since I couldn't find the cactus either I have decided to archive this cache! The pines are really "overgrown" which makes it hard to even find a cache. It was good while it lasted!....AZnut

Geocache Description:

Located in a small park in Park Township, park in lot or can access it by bike path.

I fell in love with cactus on my first trip to Arizona in 1971. There are so many different kinds with the most beautiful flowers. What most people don't know is that some varieties can grow in the Michigan climate, so I decided to place the cache near some prickly pear cactus. Be careful not to disturb them! In the winter they will be under the snow, but check them out again in the spring or summer and maybe you will see some cactus flowers! The nice part about finding the cactus in Michigan is you don't have to worry about finding the Diamondbacks too! Good luck!
