Money Rock Traditional Cache
XBUNCEX: Thanks for all that have hunted this cache. Someone bulldozed a road right next to the rock and the cache was destroyed.

Located in Brookville, PA on Snyder Rd in between Routes 322 & 28.
The cache is low and may not be available during heavy periods of snow.
This cache is a large lock-n-lock container.
Since the 1940's the McElhinny family has lived right up the road from this cache. The family house is still standing at Snyder Rd & McElhinny Ave. Jack and Rose McElhinny had 18 children, most of which still live in this neighborhood.
The elders of the family would toss pennies, nickles, and other coins onto this massive rock and the kids would go down and hunt the coins. The tradition still lives today as my wife and I drive by here and still toss money onto this rock. As I was placing this cache I found two pennies that dated back to the 1940's & 50's.
Please have fun hunting this cache and don't forget to empty your loose change from your pockets and out onto the "Money Rock".
