Geocache Description:

This cache is located along the Trail system owned and operated by Historic St. Mary's City. It is a pedestrian only trail. Pets are permitted if on a leash. The best place to park is in the lot of the nearby Brome-Howard Inn. Please park near the barn and follow the grass pathway toward the river. Look for the brown/white arrow sign.

The cache celebrates the founding of Maryland (which turns 375 years old in 2009). It contains some information about Historic St. Mary's City, which is a 17th -century living history museum on the grounds of the original capital of Maryland. There are small souvenirs to take.
The container is a clear plastic box.
