Barberanne: After the fourth muggling of this cache, it is now time to permanently archive it. Sad, because it's such a good overview of Christchurch, even if I say so myself.

Dorset and Hampshire get more fair days than almost anywhere else in the UK. I'm setting this series of caches to take you to historical sites and beautiful places to visit around the beaches and the New Forest.
This multicache will take you past the Stour River, so do remember to bring some food for the ducks. The walk is less than a mile long and will probably take about an hour, more if you stop to admire the sights.
STAGE 1:
Park at the first co-ordinates in the Bank Close Car Park, Sopers Lane, which is a paid parking area.
STAGE 2:
Walk through the Druitt Gardens to the High Street for the first clue. Find the plaque marking the site of the bookshop where Gleeson White was born and lived as an author, editor and publisher from 1852 - 18A8 = A
STAGE 3:
Next to the New Forest Perfumery, there is a plaque on the wall. Medieval Borough-owned property dating in parts from the 1Bth century = B
STAGE 4:
Go through the gates to the castle which guarded Christchurch. The keep was demolished in 1C51 = C
STAGE 5:
Mrs Perkins had a fear of being buried alive. She was buried in a mausoleum, and asked that her coffin not be screwed shut in case she woke up. She died in 1D83 = D
Her wishes were carried out by her devoted husband who died in 180E = E
STAGE 6:
From the mausoleum, head south past the fenced Garden of Remembrance to the Priory grounds. Find the grave of Zachary Nash. He was Curate and Vicar of the parish. He died on 17 November 1F83 = F.
STAGE 7:
Continue along the Priory pathway, heading in a westerly direction to The Red House Museum. Open Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 5pm,
Sunday 2pm to 5pm, (last admission 4.30pm). There is a kissing gate and a few steps to be negotiated, so perhaps buggy-pushers should consider the long way round. Find a plaque on the wall commemorating the Union Workhouse which remained in use until 18G5 = G.

Now you've got the co-ordinates for the final cache. Please ensure the container is well-hidden. It's been muggled too many times already.
After signing the log, head for the Clay Studio for a well-deserved cuppa and cake, right next to the car park. If you've got the energy, try your hand at clay painting for an original memento of this cache!
