It is located on top of a mountain but if you walk from a smart direction you will get here easily!
This is a really great viewpoint over Gothenburg, which is unknown to most people because there is no real trail to the top. It is located 84 m above sea level and it give you a great view of "älvsborgsbron" the southern bridge, a large part of the city and even the sea!
I found this place 2003 when I moved to Gothenburg and I often go here when I need some time alone. I want to share it because I find it very nice and relaxing. You don't need to climb any mountains or go throuh heavy terain. Just go past the small bog "Näckrosdammen" outside the botanical garden on the left side and follow the big trail one third up the hill and you will find your own path to the treasure! You can park your car in "Änggården" next to botanical garden and a small trail (Waypoint#2) will lead into the forest. This particular trail is very beautiful all the year round.
Look for a 0.5L plastic cylinder east of the fence. Don´t forget to walk up to the highest point to have a look at the view.

Detta är en riktigt bra utsiktplats över Göteborg, som är okänd för de flesta eftersom det inte finns någon egentlig stig som leder hit. Den ligger 84 meter över havet och det ger dig en fantastisk utsikt över "Älvsborgsbron" södra bron, en stor del av staden och även havet!
Jag hittade det här stället 2003 när jag flyttade till Göteborg och jag går ofta hit när jag behöver lite "relaxing". Jag vill dela med mig eftersom jag tycker det är en mycket trevlig plats. Du behöver inte bestiga något berg eller gå genom tung terräng. Gå bara förbi Näckrosdammen utanför botaniska trädgården till vänster och följ den stora stigen en tredjedel uppför backen och du kommer hitta din egen väg till skatten! Du kan parkera din bil i Änggården bredvid botaniska trädgården och en liten stig (Waypoint#2) leder in i skogen. Denna speciella stig är mycket vacker året om.
0.5 liters plastcylinder öster om staketet. Glöm inte av att gå upp till högsta punkten på berget för att ta en paus och njuta av utsikten!
