June 2023 Update
If you for whatever reason are trying to find this cache, it is actually on the free route now. Make sure to head towards Warkworth at the northern roundabout since you won't be able to access the cache from the new SH1. Also, make sure not to take the on-ramp near Puhoi as you won't be able to access the cache either when heading that way. Essentially, Exit 388 (the old free route exit) has been relocated north of the cache, and this means to retrieve the cache you will only be able to take the Hibiscus Coast Highway and Old SH1.

There aren't any toll booths, this is a fully automatic system. You have
a few options to pay:
- At one of the selected BP or Caltex service stations (additional fee applies)
- Set up a pre-paid account online
- or pay within 5 days.

And you can of course take the old route which is FREE and has plenty of caches to find as well.
For those who still can't make up their mind, I placed this cache before the last exit.
So just pick up this cache, sign the log and decide what you will do: Toll or nothing.
The toll road save's you about 15 min travel time.....

The cache is a 250 ml container with a logsheet and room for Geocoins and small TB's.
